Envisioning is the ongoing process we use at Intrawest to create an idea blueprint - a roadmap to guide the planning, design, construction and operation of a destination resort. Envisioning ensures that the resort, when complete, will be the fulfillment of the project team's shared objectives, dreams and aspirations to create the ultimate resort experience completely adapted to the uniqueness of the resort site.

Architects, master planners, designers and community members gathered at several "envisioning" sessions to work together and develop a Vision Statement for Blue Mountain.

Four key elements defined their vision: natural resources, history, recreation and human resources. Transforming the vision of Blue Mountain Resort into a living reality is a process that will continue to evolve over time. But you can see the results in today's Blue.
